As many as 20 East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue personnel held poultry raid, Tuesday (3/29). They targeted Ciracas flat owned by the agency on Jalan Raya Poncol, Ciracas, East Jakarta.
The raid is also aimed to prevent bird flu spread
Personnel only secured chickens and birds kept by the occupants. Those poultries then directly burned.
Gatot Sulaiman, agency’s operation section, said the raid is based on Dept. of PKP instruction due to many occupants keeping poultries.
